Lead DevOps Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applications.
• Lead the development and implementation of DevOps strategies across the engineering and operations teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code deployment, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Huawei) ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of systems and applications on dev and production.
• Mentor junior team members and lead cross-functional teams in DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new technologies into the DevOps framework.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or software development.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g.. Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Huawei.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (laC) (e.g.. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of networking, security protocols, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Strong Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other languages.
