Full-time Associate Manager/Manager - Delivery

at Villvay in Hybrid

Your role:

  • Manage projects to ensure success by coordinating teams, resources, and activities efficiently
  • Lead resource allocation and workload assignment to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, business analysts, engineering leads, and other key stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
  • Regularly review processes, propose improvements, and implement strategies to enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Confidently negotiate timelines and delivery goals with clients on behalf of Villvay.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration across departments to facilitate software development completion.
  • Work with project managers to establish clear guidelines for successful delivery processes.
  • Analyze customer/client feedback and implement necessary changes to manage expectations and improve satisfaction.
  • Ensure operations remain cost-effective while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and execute effective project strategies.
  • Identify project risks early and take steps to mitigate them, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Assist in driving OKRs for project teams in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure teams maintain high levels of competence and strive for operational excellence.
  • Uphold international standards of customer experience in all interactions.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Villvay’s products, services, and vision.
  • Act as an ambassador for Villvay’s values when representing the company to stakeholders.

Required experience:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, including leadership responsibilities overseeing teams
  • Familiarity with implementing Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working in the software industry with international clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A self-motivated, goal-driven mindset with the ability to lead diverse teams and navigate complex interpersonal situations.
  • A proactive approach to identifying effective communication methods with clients and teams
  • Strong ability to assess client needs and expectations, even when not explicitly stated.
  • Passionate about delivering the best customer experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Capable of initiating and managing processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in learning about Villvay’s clients, products, and vision.

Added advantages:

  • Experience in the e-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge of data engineering and analytics in a business context.
  • Experience working or living in the US or Europe.
  • Experience in setting up and managing project management tools (e.g. JIRA), to ensure efficient delivery.
