Associate Technical Lead - PHP Laravel

We seek a talented and motivated Associate Technical Lead to join our development team. As an Associate Technical Lead, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our company’s growth and success.

Experience and Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Vue.js/Vue 3, TypeScript, and Laravel, with experience in building and maintaining complex applications.
• Highly proficient in PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience with the AWS platform.
• Database design and development experience with PostgreSQL, with a strong understanding of database architecture and optimization techniques.
• Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of architecture, system design, SOLID principles, and industry best practices, with experience in medium-scale technically complex systems.
• Experience in design patterns and best practices.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as REST API and Serverless Architecture.
• Expertise in conducting strict code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintaining high-quality code.
• Understanding of application performance and security, with experience in optimizing performance and implementing security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Experience in working directly with overseas clients and project teams.
• Experience in managing and leading a medium-sized team.

Qualifications and Personal Characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
• Thorough understanding of product from both functional and technical perspectives.
• Responsible for technology and development strategy selections based on business requirements and budgets.
• Translate product/project vision into application architecture.
• Ensure unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews are completed for functionality, performance, and coverage.
• Adherence to company vision, mission, culture, objectives, expected behaviors, and human values.
• Ability to observe team members to understand skills and gaps, leading by example.
• Ability to work within deadlines individually and as a team.
• Adherence to agile and lean practices.
• Responsible for managing and delivering quality software products within estimated timeline and budget.
• Ability to take decisions independently to drive team and company towards company objectives and targets.
• Strong and effective interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
