Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior Web Developer at Insights Edge.The Junior Web Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with web development, including back-end web development and programming. The role is located in Colombo, with flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities

✅ Develop web-based applications with a focus on quality and performance.

✅ Analyze requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.

✅ Apply engineering and architectural best practices to deliver scalable and maintainable code.

✅ Ensure product performance and maintainability by adhering to company standards, guidelines, and processes.

✅ Conduct thorough testing and documentation to ensure product reliability and usability.

✅ Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the solutions meet their requirements.

Qualifications

✅ Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

✅ Previous internship experience in a related field is a plus.

✅ Proficiency in React, Node.js, and database technologies.

✅ Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.

✅ Knowledge of software engineering best practices and Agile SDLC methodologies.

✅ Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

✅ Ability to work independently and in a team
