POSITION: Senior ICT Executive

We, Pelemix Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Pelemix Ltd, Israel. Pelemix is a global company, and it owns 5 production facilities across the globe in Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Israel and a state-of-the-art coir & peat substrate blending facility in Spain.

Pelemix coir is used worldwide as a growing media for various hydroponic-grown crops and various indoor and outdoor nurseries by professional and commercial growers. Pelemix uses modern technologies along with high-quality materials to produce different blends based on coir, including other materials such as high-quality peat. Its products being exported to more than 70 countries.

Pelemix Sri Lanka has a total strength of 350 employees with three manufacturing location. Our company has the Lean Management concepts-based team-oriented working culture. We are certified with ISO and many other Global Certifications.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to be part of our team awaiting better carrier prospects.

Based Location: Negombo (Service coverage includes Colombo, Marawila and Attanagalla Factories)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• HND/ Diploma or similar qualifications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience of at least 10 years in IT management, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency in systems administration and network management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide timely technical support. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and network administration. Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and data protection measures.
• Strong organizational skill to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond promptly to user requests. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, peripherals, and networking.
• Follow, IT security protocols.
• Evaluate system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment.
• Stay updated on emerging tech and trends for innovative IT solutions.
