Associate Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Ll and L2 technical support for FinTech applications and infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve payment gateway, transaction processing, and API-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend services, microservices, databases, and network issues.
  • Work with banking partners, payment aggregators, and regulatory bodies to resolve integration issues.
  • Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CitLab CI/CD.
  • Assist in containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS. or CCP) to ensure high availability and scalability
  • Support log management and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
  • Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, ensuring uptime and optimal performance
  • Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Monitor system logs, alerts, and dashboards to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document resolutions for recurring incidents.
  • Work with DevOps and Security teams to implement recovery plans and security fixes
  • Ensure zero-downtime deployments and rollback strategies for high-risk changes
  • Work with Security & Compliance teams to enforce security best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, performing stress testing and load balancing
  • Enforce access control policies and IAM (Identity and Access Management) best practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of support tickets, troubleshooting steps, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releases
  • Document and enhance FAQs, SOPs, troubleshooting guides and automation scripts
  • Participate in post mortem analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Selence, or a related field.
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or FinTech security
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, application support, or Devops roles.
  • Experience with FinTech systems, digital payments, or banking integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, SQL REST APIs, and debugging tools.
  • Experience managing cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud networking
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with logging & monitoring tools (Prometheus, Crafana, ELK Stack New Relic, etc.).
  • Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments. IAM, and DevSecOps.
  • Basie scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced FinTech environment and provide on call support if required
