Fabric/Power BI – Workspace/Capacity/Gateway Administrator

 Budget: Up to LKR 380,000 (take-home, after all deductions including taxes and EPF), depending on skills and experience

 Responsibilities

Administer and optimize Fabric Power BI environments, managing capacities, workspaces, licensing, dataset refreshes, and user permissions.
Ensuring compliance with security policies, governance standards, and best practices.
Implement and manage access control mechanisms
Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation, utilizing DevOps, GitHub Actions and Terraform for seamless deployments.
Manage and maintain On-Premises and VM Gateways, ensuring seamless connectivity between cloud and on-prem data sources, troubleshooting performance issues, and optimizing data flow.
Implement governance and security controls, enforcing Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel for proactive threat detection and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide Azure adoption, integrating with Azure AD, Microsoft Entra, and hybrid environments.
 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years’ relevant experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies.
