Software Engineer - PL/ SQL

Join a dynamic team working on a world-renowned core banking application, gaining valuable industry exposure and insights into complex financial systems. The position offers an opportunity to work with large-scale financial databases, optimize transactions, and contribute to mission-critical banking operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • Expertise in PL / SQL, Shell Scripting, and Java with a strong focus on data migration, performance tuning, and application support

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration & PL/SQL Optimization

  • Design and execute data migration strategies for large-scale banking databases
  • Optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and queries for better performance
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks to ensure accuracy
Shell Scripting & Automation
  • Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation, job scheduling, and log monitoring
  • Manage cron jobs for batch processing and automated maintenance

Java Development

  • Debug and maintain Java-based middleware components
  • Work on API integrations with core banking applications
