Job Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help streamline our development and operations processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, automation, and a deep understanding of continuous integration and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions for scalability and high availability in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems.
• Respond to and resolve incidents related to system performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Collaborate with development, and testing teams to ensure a seamless and efficient development workflow.
• Implement and maintain security best practices in infrastructure and application deployments.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 1 year as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in DevOps or related areas.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools
• Previous experience with Agile methodologies.
